This agreement relates to my position as House Director for the __________________________

of Kappa Kappa Gamma at __________________________________________. I recognize the

difficulty of determining the exact hours of work for my position because I am both House Director of the chapter house and have my residence in that same chapter house. This agreement is intended to clarify my work hours and the types of duties I perform as House Director.
My position requires me to perform duties during specific work hours and on-call hours. During the specific work hours, I perform the following duties: serving as official hostess for the chapter; supervising house cleaning, house laundry and all help (including kitchen help);

I understand that if I have questions or concerns about my specific work hours, on-call hours, or job duties, I can contact the House Board President or another House Board Member in the President’s absence. [If a House Director is non-exempt, consider adding the following paragraph to regulate the House Director’s overtime hours:
I understand that I must get written approval from the House Board President (or the House Board Member, in the President’s absence) before working any overtime hours.
If a non-exempt House Director works overtime hours without written approval, you still must pay the House Director overtime for hours worked in excess, but you can – and should – discipline the House Director for working those overtime hours without prior written approval.
You also can manage a House Director’s hours by including in this agreement, the employment agreement, or job description the specific numbers of hours on-duty and off-duty per day or week and a specific number of hours allowed for emergencies per week or month.]
