I sat in my room thinking to myself about the cells that we have been learning about in school. While I was thinking, I got really hungry, so I went to my kitchen. As I was making my food I realized that the kitchen is like Nucleolus the Nucleolus is where the proteins are made for the cell. Like the kitchen is where the proteins for my family and I are made.
After I made sandwich I started thinking about the rest of the house and house that tied in with the cell, like how the cell wall is just like the houses walls and roof. The cell wall give support and …show more content…
I put that aside for a minute as I helped make dinner with the family. “Family…..family.” Thinking to my I tried to figure out what that had to do with the cell, then I got it! My family is like the ribosomes, they make protein for the cell like my family make food for us.
While I was in the kitchen I thought about the vacuole and how it stores all of the food and waste for the cell. “What is like the vacuole?” I thought to myself. “I know, the fridge and garbage.” They are like the vacuole because working together the fridge holds the food and water, and the trash holds all the waste.
Now there is one last organelle to go over the Lysosomes they breaks down old cell parts, dead cell parts, or low functioning cell parts, known as the clean up crew in a cell. The repairman that comes over sometime is like this organelle because he comes and repairs all of the broken down parts of the house like if the pipes downs in the basement need repairs then that's where you'll find
