Hour Vs Interlopers

The Story of An Hour and The Interlopers are both very interesting short stories. This essay will talk about the similarities and differences of both. Although they both have a lot of the same story elements they are quite different.

Irony is used in both stories which makes the story more interesting and captivates the reader. In The Story of An Hour the story starts off with saying that the young lady has a heart problem so her sister tries to tell her gently that her husband died. It has the opposite affect however and the lady is overjoyed that she is free but she died from a heart attack when her husband walks through the door showing that he wasn't dead after all.
