The Germans would work people to death and put people in gas chambers. The Hutus would shoot down whole groups of people and chop down little kids with machetes.Both groups also had mass graves. Even though the Germans eventually changed to burning a lot of the bodies toward the end of the war, there was still massive sites that were littered with bones. The Hutus hadn't reached the point of over encumberment with the bodies, but if they had the time the Germans had, they would have run into the same problem.
Life during the holocaust was more miserable and hopeless than the Hutus and Tutsis war. For years America didn't even know what was happening in Europe. But with the event in Africa, the UN was there trying to help for almost the whole time. Despite this fact, when the troops were involved in the war in Europe, they actually made an effort to suppress the enemy. The UN didn't attack back in Africa, they could only evacuate a small amount of people every so often.
Both events were terrible. They were similar in some ways and different in others. But it can't be denied that both were dark times in
