When looking at the Memorial Hermann website, there is a large picture of an older couple and a caption regarding insurance plans. There is also a place to find a doctor, pay a bill, which is in large print, and in small print at the bottom, news and educational events. At first glance, a person is led to believe this site is for the elderly. As for Methodist, a large picture depicts a scientist, while another displays that the hospital system has been ranked one of the “Best Hospitals by U.S. News” and is the only one in Texas. An area for scheduling mammograms is also on the page. The caption about medical breakthroughs targets the sick, mammogram scheduling targets women, and displaying their award targets all audiences when choosing a system that will provide the best care.
