With her previous experience as an RN in oncology and other areas, she writes on similar issues and topics. Esposito previously reported on health care and received her journalism master's degree at Georgetown University. She wrote an article talking about the significance and impact of horse therapy (Hippotherapy). She wrote about real stories, from real patients, who got real results. The first story was about a man with chronic relapse of drug and alcohol abuse. He was treated with regular office therapy but then agreed to go and watch horses in the pasture. Over a period of a few weeks the horses got closer until one day finally approached him. This relationship lead to a breakthrough for that man, and a lasting recover leading to a new life (Esposito). Another story was about a group of people, veterans. Some of these veterans are aging and with that comes memory loss and mobility loss. After about 10 sessions it is noticeable that veterans are, “adjusting to their disability or injury and are more relaxed in their daily lives. Perhaps they're applying for a job. Or they're out in the community in some other setting and they realize, 'Wow, this is really helping me”. By the end of their therapy these veterans go from in home therapy to walking and trotting on a horse, making new memories and experiencing the independence that they had not felt in years
