The real meaning of “horoscope crap” “Isn’t astrology the made up horoscope crap?” This might be something one would hear if you asked people what they thought astrology was. Jackleen Holton, an intuitive astrologer from San Diego, would say differently. Jackleen is not just an intuitive astrologer, but also a new mom, and life coach. She has been studying intuitive astrologer for over 30 years. “From medical astrology to financial, from event prediction to the identification of key dates in advance of planning an event, to its use to reveal the nature of our psyche, personality and spiritual path, to relationship compatibility astrology, to the use of astrology in the political arena, astrology is something that has been used and applied …show more content…

I match my sign, a scorpion, perfectly, which makes me feel like I have a grip on my sense of self. I wanted to do this topic because I am getting a tattoo of a scorpion on the back of my neck to symbolize who I am as a person. From there, she can make your chart, seeing where your planets were in line at the time you were born, your sign, ruling planets, and see how that affects you as a person. Astrologers also can see transformations in your person, can also tell you the compatibility of friends, family, and lovers, and even can tell how you are as a person without even looking at you! Doing things over the phone not only is more convenient for her being a new mom but she feels as if it eliminates any biased she might get from an appearance. “I have done it in person, but being a new mom it’s very hard to run back and forth to the office so over the phone is what works best for me. I also feel like not knowing how they look keeps the reading from being biased and becoming more like a psychic reading.” As a new mom, more efficient and less time consuming is the name of the game when it comes to working. One of the most interesting and important Jackleen feels like she does is letting people know their purpose in life. “We all create our own realities but having more insight on strengths and weaknesses and knowing your purpose in life is

Through Psychology 101, I have come to gain a clear understanding of the Biopsychosocial Framework. I have learned that the biopsychosocial framework is made up of three levels of analysis, and these three levels are biological, psychological, and social-cultural influences. Psychologists rely on the biopsychosocial framework because it gives them a more complete and clear understanding when they are studying a person’s behavior or mental processes.
