Hopewell Case Study

Decent Essays
The last big event in Hopewell was the firework show at the Appomattox River on July 1st. The event was free and not that many people knew about it. Hopewell should have more large festivals and events worthy of charging admission because they bring in more money, business, and opportunities to volunteer.
Hopewell could use more money to go towards the community. The money from larger festivals could go towards schools or basketball courts. Some might say if Hopewell has more events then they will be too loud. Hopewell City Public Schools could benefit from having more bus drivers. The buses are overcrowded and some buses have to pick up extra kids because the drivers don’t show up. Festivals bring in tourists and new business for local shops
