Hope Solo is not just a soccer player. Hope Solo is not just the number one goalie in the world she is also a great person is society.
Hope Solo started her soccer career in High school. Although she is the number one goalie in the world she started off a are forward at Richland High School in Richland, Washington. Hope solo scored 109 goals at Richland High School. Hope was playing as a forward player when she led her team for winning 3 consecutive league titles (1996-1998). Hope has received many of different awards, but her first one was the All-American by Parade magazine. When Hope was a senior in high soccer she decided to go the University of Washington. Solo moved into the goalkeeper spot for the Washington Huskies as a freshman. She was an all-time leader in shutouts, saves, and goals-against average at the University of Washington's. During her college years, Solo dominated the Pacific-10 conference. As a senior, she was the only goalkeeper in contention for the prestigious Hermann Award, and

In 2011, Hope Solo was on dancing with the stars and got knocked out in the semifinal round. Hope Solo is a representative of the Women’s Sports Foundation, founded by Billie Jean King to advance the lives of girls and women through sports and physical activity. Hope Solo joined national teammates Alex Morgan and Abby Wambach in running the Chicago Marathon in order to raise money for the Seattle Humane Society. Hope Solo was also a participant of the Game Changers program with countless other star athletes. With Game Changers, Hope spent time with children, fulfilling their dreams to meet their sports heroes. Hope Solo is not just the number one goalie in the world she is also a great person is society.
