Hope of the Godly Person

The comfort in these things, which will be explained in later chapters is this: If you genuinely desire to do the will of God and you are ashamed of sin (even if at times you lapse into it) then you are to be saved. If you were raised in tyranny and taught evil but wish to learn the love of God for no other reason than he commanded it and believe his warnings, then you are a child of God and can be saved by God’s Son. The difference is as clear as the difference between Jacob and Esau. Just as certain animals cannot understand the nature of man, those born of the devil cannot understand love or mercy or repentance. Even when they try to understand the secrets of God they fail in doing so because they lack the master

Unfortunately for most the matters of truth are needlessly hidden from people beneath a veil of worldly religion. The traditions of man have obscured these things which even the ancients understood better than us. The judgment is not a time to be feared by those who are God 's children, but rather hoped for. Even still, it may be possible to entering into God 's rest now. The matter is simply one of belief and obedience to your True Father.

One thing I would state that people of our generation have wrong concerning what they call “the last days” is that God is not concerned so much with the politics of our generations (after all, how many generations from Christ had naively misapplied prophesies to their own interests?). God did not give his Son for the governments of our world or the denominations which call themselves churches. He gave his firstborn as a ransom for us, you and I. The beauty of existing in the image of God – even in our current state – is far greater than any government or worldly idea that existed up until now. With this in mind we must always remember that the creator is much greater than the creation, and he pays no mind to the creation of his creations – that is, the strange things of this world that were not a part of the original

This applies to society today given that our relationship with God has been misled through the materialistic deception we are subjected to on a daily basis in this capitalistic society, which Paul has already warned us about. Another example is when Paul addresses the divisions between the Jewish and Gentile communities, and how he served as an Apostle who sought to unite both groups. Similarly, we can look at Martin Luther King Jr. and how he utilized God’s word against separatist groups such as the KKK in order to liberate…

1A). The boats in Pic A and Pic B helped the development of the civilization of both Mesopotamia and Egypt, economically, politically, and socially in many ways. In an Economical perspective, the boats were utilized to transport goods faster and reliable to other surrounding cultures. Thus, the price of shipping has fallen because the merchants were able to transport goods faster at a lower cost to them. The low cost of transportation helped the merchants produce more goods than in front.…

Later in this chapter we shall take a look at scripture verses that so clearly illustrate what I am talking about, but first I will explain a few things. All truths are parallel! Why does the Bible mention the umbilical cord? Unlike like humans, there is nothing that God mentions in His word that is unnecessary. Most Bible translations unmistakably refer to the umbilical cord as the navel or navel string.…

As a judge for Jacob’s case I have decided to put him under the Youth Criminal Justice Act and sentence him as a youth. First degree murder will be Mr. Ind’s charge. I have taken into account this young man’s age, home life, personal experiences, the abuse he suffered, and how he planned the murders. In perspective, first degree murder is a reasonable charge because of Jacob’s mental, and emotional state, as well as the plans that went into the crime. Some sentences I have given him include: prison for 8 years, and 2 years of probation, and 14 hours of community service every 2 weeks.…

The sermon “Sinners in the Hand of an Angry God” was given by Mr. John Edwards, a well-known minister, during the Great Awakening to a church congregation in hopes of educating them about the horrors of hell and alerting sinners that in order to be saved they need to turn to God for forgiveness. One idea that characteristically appears in the work of Edwards is that of human limitation. Mr. Edwards believes in the idea of human limitation and that no man is perfect or incapable of committing a sin, therefore we need to look to God for forgiveness and the opportunity of salvation. According to Mr. Edward’s beliefs, we as humans do not have the authority to judge a person’s soul or redemption as only God has this sovereignty. The Great Awakening can best be described as a time of revitalization of religious devotion that swept through the American colonies.…

I’ve usually learned in hard way because frankly, I love to challenge myself to expand my personal capacity. Although I had already talked to one of my classmates about having interview with her as a Caucasian woman, I decided to do it with my cousin’s friend, Jacob, who I met in my place for the first time during Thanksgiving holidays. Interviewing Jacob about his interactions with other cultures has made me realize that I have a lot to learn about the meaning of the privilege and holding it. Jacob was a 24-year-old Caucasian, who lived in Missouri his entire life. Though he was visiting California for the second time in his life, he was in a Persian house for the first time.…

Van Laan also states in his analysis of Everyman that in between all the episodes of asking his figures for support and company, that he is alone on stage. Van Laan refers to this act as, “a visual representation of increasing loneliness.” This serves as a direct example of performance theory. Everyman was alone and in solitary in between having conversations with the allegorical figures, especially Fellowship, Cousin and Kindred, Goods and Good Deeds. In the play, Everyman is alone to show that he is slowly accepting the fact that he may have to face this journey alone.…

In Crumb’s illustration of the book of Genesis, he illustrates the story of Cain and Abel with a two paged frame story. Crumb used his shading, lines, and personal characteristics to specifically single out the main characters in this Bible story and to portray their dominant traits: Cain and his jealousy and guilt, and God and His reverence. He uses the shading to portray his character’s moods and uses the proximity of the frames to convey the quickness and rash actions of Cain and the shame in his final judgment. Instead of taking the typical comical, plain, dumbed down versions of Bible stories, his comic emulates reverence and skill through his accurate and serious portrayal of the story of Cain and Abel.…

The main point of “Salvation” is to show the readers Hughes experience of being saved. Being saved is supposed to be a great time where you except Christ into your life, but it was quite the opposite for Hughes. In fact, the first two lines of this story contradict each other, “I was saved from sin when I was going on thirteen. But not really saved.” (Hughes 299).…

The Bible, in contrast, begins its consideration of suffering not with innocence but with guilt. It reminds us that we live in a fallen world, a sinful world that “groaneth and travaileth in pain” (Rom 8:22) under God’s curse and judgment. God had promised death to both Adam and Eve on the day that they disobeyed Him and ate the forbidden fruit. However, ‘death’ in a final sense was postponed when Adam was allowed to live on earth for 900 years. Hence, for as long as we live in this sin-cursed world, the series of mini-judgments which are visited upon us arising from the sin of Adam should be seen as previews of the final judgment awaiting mankind.…

The first section covers issues such as why studying the word of God is important, idolatry and how it can affect the knowledge we have of God, the mystery of the Incarnation, and the nature and the importance of the Holy Spirit. It asks questions such, do you know God and what does it mean to know God. The second section list God’s attributes.
