Hope In South Dakota

The small town of Hope, South Dakota was named after people that viewed this small area as a sign of hope for life, this ironic because Hope lives in a part of a state that many people would think it would hopeless living there. The people living in Hope are nowhere near affected by the hopeless appearance around Hope; to the people, this is everyday life.
The weather could be harsh, relaxing, or outright random; It could be snowing in the start of spring as people think spring is starting early or the days would be windier in the summer that would make people think they would fly away like kites. The winters could short and nice, or long and brutal or vice versa. The people in other states in the South question about how people from the North don’t get cold at a mere sixty degrees in the middle of the afternoon. People in north would view the people in the southern states to be outright weak to the cold since sixty degrees is warm to them; the question the Northerners gave to the South was how they managed to deal with the heat over the summers up to a hundred degrees constantly. The people in the North are aware that not all southern states deal with hundred degree weather, but some people actually do, yet they find themselves cold in rooms slightly under seventy degrees.
