Hope for Justice is an international advocacy coalition that brings awareness to modern day slavery. It is there mission to eradicate 21st century slavery by rescuing victims, restoring lives and reforming society. Hope for Justice has several locations through out the world. For example, in Cambodia they offer five holistic programs designated for female sex trafficking victims in the Cambodian region. The first program “Lighthouse” acts as a safe-space the minute a sex trafficking victim gets brought to their door. I think something that stuck out was reading and watching the testimonials from former victims rehabilitated through Hope for Justice. To hear the heart wrenching stories, I felt a sense of personal sadness and guilt due to how fortunate my life is compared to theirs. However, hearing them former victims speak about how much better their lives are since their time spent with Hope for Justice, I feel a lot more assured. Finally, the “take action” page on the website is something I love. When I—like most people—see or witness something that compels me, I try and figure out how to get involved. Hope for Justice has so many ways to get involved. On their website one can “donate their birthday” in which you put in your birthday details and Hope for Justice will set up a
