FDR actually had a positive outcome from his government involved programs. In the first hundred days of his presidency, Congress passed legislation aimed to help with the banking crisis, unemployment that was a whopping 25%, and weak industrial performance and other problem which caused The Great Depression. The new laws were known as a ¨alphabet soup¨ because the AAA, CCC, FERA, NRA, FDIC and the SEC were created to help prevent problems that lead to the great depression. The FDIC is very important because it has to do with banks, many people during the great depression lost all of their life savings because they were put into the banks. The FDIC Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation Guaranteed individuals that money they deposited into banks would be repaid to them by the federal government in the event that their bank went out of business. Which now just that law itself causes a huge impact on the role the government now. Lastly, even though the new deal and the second new deal were successful we can give that all the credit of getting the United States of America out of the Great Depression because massive military spending brought on by the second world war helped a lot of Americans. The reason this helps a lot of Americans is that while almost all males were at or overseas fighting the war at home factories are being made that build airplanes and weapons.
