I’m at a college party and the music is playing really loud. I was sitting at a bar with my cousins, we order drinks; mine in particular is cranberry with vodka because it makes me relaxed. All of a sudden my song comes on, “Call Me” by Ceelo Greene. We went straight to the dance floor, and I was definitely feeling myself. As I started moving my body to the music, a tall guy came guy came walking towards me. He was 6’1, pretty brown eyes, pecan skin, and he was dressed as if he was going on a interview. When he looked at me I was speechless, so he asked me to dance, I nodded my head yes. As we danced he turned me around and our body was moving as if we were making love. My mind had left body, and I was in another world. Even though I …show more content…
Hooking up, was a term that could describe as an act between two individuals that partake in sexual activity with no strings attached, therefore society in the 1990’s have changed the term to “Hooking Up”. When having higher income, it can sometimes influence you to do more, so you drink more, and have more freedom to have intercourse with different people that you don’t know, can be very risky. It can also lead a trait of anxiety, negative emotions, depression, and you can become very vulnerable and lonely. Although hooking up seems apathetic to some individuals, some can get caught-up and start to grow feelings for the other person. If society were to just let nature run its course, they would have more respect for others instead of just hooking up. When people drink alcohol, they’re inhabitations are lowered, so they don’t think when they have intercourse. Sexual exploitation is common in both cultures, in the result of men are more capable of keeping a woman for just sex than a woman’s

Hooking Up by Kathleen A. Bogle. is a sociological study of people before and after college about the sexual phenomenon of "hooking up". Hooking up is the way mostly younger generations meet people and instead of courting the other person they have sex and usually never talk again. The term "hooking up" can be linked back to the mid nineteen eighties (Bogle 2008). Hooking up is very prevalent on college campuses and that is where Bogle 's study takes place. Bogle proves many arguments in this study.…

In the book Hooking Up, Sex, Dating, and Relationships on Campus, the goal Bogle seems to have in mind in her research was to contribute to the growing body of literature on the changing nature of relationships. She pays particular attention to the beginning of a relationship, how it takes root and forms. This entails how individuals find each other, and upon meeting, how they proceed. The beginning stages of relationships varies depending on the time period, and when holding the time period relatively constant, the place. College, she identifies, is a petri-dish of sorts where relationship norms take a very unique mutation of what it is like elsewhere, it manifests itself in hooking up.…

In this section, a review of literature highlights the emerging adult’s attitudes, beliefs, and perceptions about sex and sexuality. Rather than oversimplifying a diverse generation cohort into a homogeneous group, the aim here is to give a deeper understanding of how the emerging young adults (Millennials) ages 18-29 years are shaping the culture with new sexual scripts. Let me begin first by explaining “sexual script”. The term “sexual scripts”, was introduced in the 1970s by John Gagnon and William Simon in their book Sexual Conduct. As Kathleen Boggle, the author of Hooking Up: Sex, Dating, and Relationships on Campus states the actual concept behind the term “Hooking up”. She refers through her book how “romantic relationships among college students are becoming increasingly noncommittal, and sexual activity outside the context of a committed relationship has become far more common place on college campuses”. This statement is referred to young adults since they are vulnerable to being more sexually active, as these college students are slowly starting to move out of the old fashion methods of love, and hooking up is replacing the traditional dating. Boggle also stated that casually hooking up or dating leads to psychological problems coming from an individual. Many of these casual dates and sexual activities done by both partners can lead to sexual risks.…

Step 4 - Sexual Intuition There are essentially four aspects to clitoral stimulation. These four are: directness (how direct is the touch to the clitoris), pressure (how much pressure you apply to the stimulation), pace (how fast you do it) and movement (the types of movements you do). Now that you have transitioned slowly and gently and you have begun the clitoral stimuli it’s time to create a rhythm meanwhile keeping the exterior genitalia wet (either through lubricating your finger with her vaginal juices, spit or lube). There’s no rule to how exactly each of these four aspects should be done yet you can be sure that if you just develop sexual intuition you will see that there’s no need for rules. Sexual intuition is simply:…
