R1: The article states that just because fishes don’t cry like dogs or showed a sad expression when they are in pain, it does not mean they do not experience pain. Such as when a hook pierces through their body or when they forcefully talked out of water. “Fish have the same two types of nociceptors that we do¬---A-delta and C fibers.” This line shows that fishes have the sensory wiring like a human does that detects pain.
R2: However, one thing that can be disagree on this article would be that the author instead of using a serious tone in the beginning he starts off with a sarcastic not serious tone. If the author is writing a serious article they he should not be joking about it. For instance, the title of the article is “Hooked on Myth” which is meant to intrigue on the audience, but at the same it is a pun because fishes are hook when they are caught. …show more content…
