A traditional relationship is where two people are committed to each other. A relationship is a deeper connection, which is more than just a sexual attraction between two people. When people are in relationships they are more likely to hold hands, go on dates, communicate, and they are more invested in the relationship. There is romance and intimacy that are apart of traditional relationships. When people invest into a mate they are committing to a long term relationship. Currently in the new year the phrase “Netflix and chill” has been a new things young adults are saying these days. What does it mean? Well according to Urban dictionary its when he/her invites you over to have sex and have Netflix running in the background(2015). What is a hook up? A hook up is a short term relationship with a mate that you have sexual relationship with. A sexual relationship includes high intimacy like oral- genital sex, or sexual intercourse. This questionnaire is a measurement of peoples sexual self concept (Hill, D. B. 2007). Each participant will be given the same list of adjectives. The adjectives are words that describe how sexual one person is. So they are rating the adjectives on a 7-point scale. The ranges go from 0= not a description of me to 6= very much a descriptive of me. They are ask to rate the adjectives on how they directly describe you. Participants are asked to be truthful and the answers are confidential. By using this scale it will give us a good indicator on the differences in gender and age on how participants describe themselves as
