For an honors student to be successful, there will be a lot of hinders, but the way to improve myself to be successful is an important factor. In order to maximize high effectiveness as a student, it must have a perfect plan and habits to study, because they are motivated to work. My grade is not that bad as an honors students, I still need to be working on it more. In the sophomore year, I have less time to study because marching band occupies most of my time, and I do not have good time management skill to study after any activities. That causes my grade drop down slowly. To communicate with my teacher is scary for me, and that has made me have more and more questions. All of the struggles made my grades of test and quizzes decrease. Many highly effective students have confidence, a good environment to study, and a good relationship with my parents and …show more content…
Students’ behavior is a major role in academic achievement, because it will affect their ability to learn well with other students in one environment. Som students who behave disruptively that, will interrupt the lessons, which means they will decrease the learning quality. For instance, “ Applied Economics" found that disruptive students can lower the test scores and academic achievement of an entire classroom” ( “Thompson”). To solve that problem, teacher have to follow a specific criteria in order to handle the student, because students must have motivation to determine whether they want to learn or not to learn. According to the article, “Even the best teachers can not force a student to learn if the student is completely unmotivated” ( “Thompson”). Similarly, my current habit is much like the habit that I was talking about. because during class I talk less because that will not interrupt the lesson going on. Disruptive behavior makes me less effective, but self motivation makes me more effective because it will help me be more
