The Honors College at Purdue contains some of the most motivated and dedicated students on campus with a diverse amount of interest. I am interested in joining the Honors College since it provides the opportunity to learn about distinct areas of interest other than my own, gain new perspectives on how to solve a problem, and prepare for my post-graduation plans. Personally, I love to learn about new topics, even if they do not directly relate to my chosen interest. Some days I will spend hours attempting extraneous skills such as obtaining mastery of a British accent to trying to proficiently use the method of loci.
