In third grade, I always wanted to play an instrument at school. After I graduated third and moved onto fourth, I was thrilled to play in the orchestra our school provided us. We were only allowed to choose three instruments to play, which was the Violin, Viola, and Cello. I immediately and instinctively chose the violin mainly because it is what I am best at. It was a bad choice. After playing violin for five years at that time, and going back and relearning the basics I learned four years ago, music can get boring.
I was extremely glad that fourth grade was over, and I looked at what I wanted to play for fifth grade. This year, I still wanted to play violin because IPSF (Irvine Public School District) would be making (as for the last thirty years) an Elementary Honors Chambers/Orchestra. I got into the Chambers group! I was extremely happy, but I didn’t have much time. The orchestra gave me three songs to learn and play, in only two weeks. We practiced our songs in the rehearsals, and then practiced at home. After we were finished with our rehearsals, our Chambers Music Directors told us that we would be going to Disneyland! He said that there we would get to go back stage on Disneyland and play there for a sound recording session. Then our group would go back to the main park (not backstage) and have fun going on the rides. Sadly, we only had enough time to go on four
