Honestly, I don’t know how I will start this reaction paper of mine, because I was confused at the beginning of the movie and eventually I fell asleep a little bit. Since this is a reaction paper the content of this will be my reaction and opinion about the movie, so no one cares whatever I say here because this is my own opinion and I have my own point of view. Honor thy father is a movie that you can relate in real life situation and in the things that are really happening in our country. The movie is as well a great representation of our society and serves as an eye opener to the people who are not aware of what’s going on or those people that don’t care at all, all they think is all about their selves. This movie also shows that there is no good in human; all of us are sinners and we are easily blinded by money. The movie reflects that we people are run by money. It also shows that no matter how many right things you did, people will only remember the one mistake you made. The situation that Edgar entered is not just a simple problem, but it is a life equivalent problem. If he does not solve that, his family might be put into 6 feet underground and lighten up a candle. The situation he entered is a no easy way out. If I were in his situation I honestly don’t know what will I do, or else I will just point a gun into my head and pull the trigger. We must work hard in everything that we do and make sure to play fair. This movie is a real eye opener especially for us because we are the future of this country and it is very important that we are aware of the happenings in our country. We should be informed of the things that may happen to us. We should be ready to face circumstances that we may encounter along the way. No matter what happen we should not just give up, we must try and try until we succeed in what we are achieving in life.
