Honor Society Pillars

Improved Essays
The four pillars of National Honor Society- scholarship, leadership, service, and character- have almost solely shaped my development. I pride myself in being true to all four of these pillars, in both my daily life, as well as who I am overall. I feel as if each of these virtues represents a fourth of who I hope I am; someone who values learning, is a fair leader, dedicates herself to her community, and leads a moral life. My high school career has been stressful because it is an immense amount of work to excel in each of these categories, but I couldn't be happier with where that work has put me. I am proud to be the person I am today.

National Honor Society Application Essay For any human to exhibit qualities throughout their lifestyle, one must transcend in certain aspects of their nature. Everyone is born with a different character or personality and not everyone exceeds in all of the same categories, however; I would place myself among the four characteristics of scholarship, leadership, service, and outstanding character as some of the qualities where I excel. I have always been a very studious person, and I take pride in my achievements in the classroom. I was also raised to believe that my best is an A, so when I got my first B it was not something taken lightly.
