Honor Society Characteristics

When it comes to being chosen to be a member of the National Honors Society, students must withhold exceptional characteristics. Students with these opportunities should be honored because not everyone gets chosen. There is normally a small select group that encourages the characteristics eligible to join the National Honors Society. The review committee considers students that are responsible, hard-working, and trustworthy. Throughout my day to day life I exhibit these traits regularly.
Being responsible means having to handle certain situations properly on your own. Responsibility is probably one of the most important qualities of not only candidates of the National Honor Society, but everyone. Possessing this trait does not just mean using it for work or school. People are taught about responsibility at a young age, so it stays with them wherever they go and in everything they do. Without it, students would most likely not be nominated. Whether a student is in school, at home, or at a job, working hard can tell a lot about a person. If they are eager to learn and try their best, then they will prevail. On the other hand, if a student puts no effort into their work, they will get nowhere because they did not try at all. I succeed in both school and at work because I want to do well in life. I make sure that my classwork is the best it can be and that I tried my hardest. During the summers I work with my mom and her friend in their food trailer. My mom has me as cashier, so I always have to be paying attention and ready to take orders correctly.
