My education was put on hold throughout all of this due to even more severe symptoms. My brain function was at its lowest point. After the six months of treatments, I was doing much better but was not 100 percent in any way, shape, or form. I came home and immediately began working on achieving my GED. I finished testing quickly and acquired my diploma in a few months. I seemed to be on the right track. At this point, my doctor in Kansas retired.
