For example, instead of going straight to the police after killing the Soc, they ran away. This proves that they didn’t show honesty and bravery, by not doing the right thing and by facing the consequences. However, Johnny never had a chance to turn himself in. For example, Johnny was about to turn himself in, but never had a chance to, due to the fire in the church. Soon, he was at the hospital because he was burned severely. This proves that the Greasers are honorable, and that they show honesty and bravery.
Overall, the Greasers are honorable because they stick together, they show honesty and bravery, and make sacrifices. The Greasers show bravery and honesty by facing the consequences(by turning themselves in), rather than making the situation worse, and by saving the kids from the fire. They stick together, with Johnny having Ponyboy’s back, when they were in the fire too. Also, all the sacrifices the Greaser’s had to make in order to stay together. To conclude, by doing one big and honorable action, can make up for all the bad actions

In the book The Outsiders there is a lot of gang violence including street fights, robberies, and ganging up on one of the the opposing gang members. S.E. Hinton describes the Socs as the wealthier people that live in the better parts of town and the Greasers as the poor trashy part of town. Even though the Socs and Greasers aren’t that different, they still have war with each other for no apparent reason. Some people don't understand that Socs don’t act as the ideal Socs are, and some Greasers don’t act as the ideal Greaser. What sparked the big fight was when Johnny was defending himself and stabbed a Soc so Ponyboy didn’t get drowned by a few of them.…
