La Miel Filipina is a honey business. It offers sophisticated, local varieties of natural wild honey that differ in taste, color, and texture mainly because the nectar source of bees are different and also because of the season and place it came from. Our revenue streams would all come from our sales in: businesses to consumers or as we all know the end customers, direct selling, bazaars, and agents. It is a business that is People, Planet and Profit-friendly. Our main focus is to sell raw and wild honey. We aim to reach the people who are health conscious that wants a genuine honey. We sell pure honey to consumers and we dedicate to offer them sustainable and high quality honey that is very natural, pure, and non-pasteurized from the local hives. The supply of our honey is guaranteed because our supplier is a bee hunter and also a honey connoisseur. Honey is a natural substance produced by honeybees, it possesses numerous nutritional, healing and prophylactic properties attributed by the rich components found in honey. Some of the health beneficial properties include wound healing, antimicrobial, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory potential . We offer sophisticated, local varieties of natural wild honey. Our target market are the people who are health conscious, 25 years old and above, lives in Manila, and has a personal income of Php15,000.00 and above. We build customer relationships by providing our customer personal assistance. We also do sampling or taste test that customer would get benefits from, since they would be able to choose what they prefer, in this, we value their preferences. As we sell our honey, we also provide education to our customers, we give them knowledge about honey. Berdin has this creative mind that can easily think of what strategy to do if any problem occur. She is in charge of the Marketing Section that contributes to the research and development of the business, La Miel Filipina. She has a good skill when it comes to research, she can easily find out what the competitors are doing. She also went to Gyeungju ALCOB APEC as a representative of Philippines to compete with different foreigners in proposing environmental thesis and etc. She was able to communicate despite of the difference in culture and language, and she was also exposed and learned a lot by observing the behaviors of different people. It's a skill to communicate, understand and listen that is vital in the marketing section and especially when dealing with real life customers. She was also part of journalism club in her high school days and was trained specifically in photography, this will help her creative mind in marketing specifically in promotions. Expanding on that she is computer proficient and knows the basics of MS word, excel, publisher and etc. She also know how to use adobe Photoshop, and is quite creative in designing pictures. Considering the activities that were done in the entrepreneurship program such as buy and sell, build and sell, trade fair, rejection therapy and so on, it helped her to be able to interact more with the customer and gave her experiences in handling money, inventory, managing and
