I am in agreement that the loss of honey bees is a crisis that we can afford to just sit back and doing nothing. As you mentioned that honey bees help pollinate crops, and play a vital role in the foods we enjoy. It seems to me that the pesticide industry is helpful to an extent for other insects that destroy food products. However, killing the honey bee population in the process is self-defeating and harms the environment as well.
