Introduction
Honey bear character has become one of the most popular in the young society. It is the emblem that portrays cuteness, enchanting, and appealing. Many adults in their infancy watched the cartoon called Winnie the Pooh. Our product will be graphic it with the image of the honey bear. That is why the appealing of honey bear is extremely important for the success of our new product.
Before the launch of product line of children’s bedding and clothing line with the image of Honey Bear. Our survey team conducted an analysis outside of Babies R Us. Of this group 20 were expecting a first child. The second group of 42 mothers who were expecting their second child was interview separately from the first group. Of the second group 14 were expecting a child beyond the second. When our survey team asked to describe Honey Bear using one word, 57 participants responded using words as “gloomy,” “Sleepy,” “depressed,” “inactive,” “uninteresting,” or “boring.” Only eight shoppers described Honey Bear as “cute,” “lovable,” or “appealing.”
Our survey team asked the shoppers how to make Honey Bear more attractive, 71 percent of the respondents suggested showing the Honey Bear in more active poses. Another 42 percent thought he would look better if the colors were brighter. Another significant group (62 percent suggested that Honey Bear be rounder and more cuddly. The total equal more than 100 percent, because some interviewees made more than one suggestion.
Analysis
In our previous researches, our survey team found out that the visual image influenced in peoples’ choice at the time to buy a product. Babies R Us financial statements showed an increase on sales on toys with fine appearance, contrary with toys that their appearance was
