No one wants to be known as the boy that cried “Wolf.” An old proverb says honesty is the policy. I agree with being honest at all times. First, many kids like me have good parents that teach them right from wrong, so one of the major lessons that my parents have taught me was having honesty and to grow up to be a truthful person. Second, the myth that everyone says is “once a liar always a liar,” which could true sometimes, but I know that “change” is deep down in every person. Last, being an honest person can be hard sometimes, but it can also buy you trust, and trust comes in handy at specific times so never ever forget that my people. We have all been taught to be a good honest person, and that being honest is the right thing to do any day and every day. We all lie at some point in life, but that makes us think back to what we were taught, and everyone knows that not lying and telling the truth is the right thing to do. If we were raised up by learning about God than we know that in the Bible it tells us to tell the truth and to be honest, so as best as all of us can we should all follow that rule. Everyone knows if we are honest life will be so much easier and we would have so much less trouble, so people tell the truth and do not lie, life is just easier that way. So being honest makes most people become trustworthy, which is a great feeling that I want all of us to feel. In most cases you will also make more friends along the way which is never bad until Christmas roles around. It also comes with a lot more love because the more people who trust us most likely love us unconditionally and will cherish you forever.
