So Imagine how expensive foods are in other countries. In Honduras prices of foods and water are way to expensive for most of the population (Children of Honduras). Their are so many homes that do not have access to safe drinking water or basic sanitation (Children of Honduras). In 2008 there are more than twenty-three percent of the people in rural areas that didn’t have drinking water (Children of Honduras). The average income in Honduras is $4,00 a year (Children of Honduras). Therefor many homes are forced to have the young work to feed the entire rest of their families (Children of Honduras). Maybe it’ll have a great help for them to change their ways. “The Honduran security forces are using our tax payer’s dollars to repress peaceful demonstrations against stolen elections,” (Tharoor) Many people will understand this in many different ways but it could just be one country trying to help out another. As for example some may say “We are giving Juan Orlando Hernandez money so he can get away with murder,” which is not the case (Tharoor).
Not only do they suffer from poverty they also suffer from violence. Days after a protest hit the impoverished Central American nation of 8.5 million people, which suffer some of the worst rates of violence in the world (Tharoor). From this protest many had to close down their shops and project their homes (Funez). Many people were stealing, fighting, throwing bombs,and many more (Funez). It’s not like in other countries violence doesn’t happen, of course it does. It really just depends on who is making their choices to make the country
