The most helpful thing from the IU Money Smarts presentation is that I know there is a Office of Financial Literacy can assist students in making informed financial decisions before, during, and after college. For example, spending money on playing games and buying a lot of snacks but do not eat. I have a bad habit: After I spend money to buy snacks, even if it expired I also do not eat. Finally, I threw away these snacks. This is a waste of money behavior. I hope my short-term goal is not to stop this behavior happen again in the future.
6. What were your detailed financial long-term goals?
My long-term goal is to have no financial pressure within six months. In some cases, I will let me parents to give me financial support when I do not have enough money. In the next six months, I hope this will not happen again. This means that I will begin to rationally spend money and save money.
