Homework is a everyday thing for students like me all over the world, recently I have done some research on this ever growing topic. What I had found was that more than 60% of all students across the globe have had some sort of depression. This was included in the 2016 world student council. Stress can cause headaches, exhaustion, sleep deprivation, weight loss, and stomach problems. Less time studying means more time with friends and family. Even though the world is a vast place with many possibilities, students stay locked up in their room at their desk finishing homework. Although good grades might be a good repay of kindness, these children should have the opportunity to explore and to socialise. Therefor I believe homework should be gone.
And you teachers know that students aren't the only ones that have homework ,many teachers have some sort of 'homework' that they receive on a daily. Even though a average school day goes on for 6.7 hours, many teachers spend much more time after the bell has gone. The Washington Post claim that teachers work up to 53 hours a week. In their service hours, they might grade tests or assign homework. If a average school week goes on for around 33.5 hours, that means that teachers spend more than 20.5 hours additional work after the school day. Don't you think it is time to stop homework
