School officials say homework is necessary for the mastery of key concepts this is incorrect however. Teachers, parents, and students all receive the ramifications of homework such as stress along with many other aspects of homework. Elementary grade students have no need to worry about homework at such an early and critical age. Countless parents help their child or children with their homework, thus can eliminate time for other activities such as family time. Homework can actually harm children. By having to do homework, the students might not have time to go outside as well as exercise. Thus, obesity may occur as a result. Altogether, homework is unnecessary at such an early age. Many parents, teachers, and students have ambition to see homework removed from the elementary school system.
Parents are tired of homework. An insurmountable amount of parents stay up late helping their children finish their homework. This therefore puts unnecessary stress on parents. Many parents do not have time to assist in the completion of work the teacher assigned.
