The public schools Common Core Standards is constructed to deliver consistent and concise understanding of the studies, hence, bringing the attention to where the student may need further guidance. However, this has resulted in a lack of innovation by taking away the 'Monopoly ' factor in the curriculum and it pertains directly towards the standardized testing. Being that, homeschooling is a valuable method as it has a curriculum which can be customized by the parent and child. This results in positive effects for the parents and child both. Parents have better control over what and how their child is taught. They can teach the child according to his or her individual academic level and abilities. Homeschooled students learn from hands-on teaching and spend less time with textbooks and homework. They are allowed to be creative with their school work and take on certain projects that pertain to their individual interests. Possibly benefiting the most of all from homeschooling are students with ADHD. But if homeschooling is done properly, it will be an amazing success. However, it does not mean that every family should homeschool. Some families can 't afford to spare an extra income, or the parent may not have the time or patience to teach their child to the in-depth level required of them. This would result in an unhappy child being held back academically, and it would effect them the rest of their lives. However, students need the hands-on experience of homeschooling and thrive under the one-on-one time with their teacher. They learn to be creative, not 'factory-made '. Students set personal achievements based on their interests and talent. They learn vital lessons at a young age that by setting those high standards and seeing first hand what success feels like. They also learn from a nurturing environment without the negative impacts from public school are eliminated.
