Homeroom Observation Report

Mrs. Blanco,

I have noticed an improvement in Jonathan since our last phone call. He has been doing his math homework in homeroom and asking for help in class. However, the is still work to be done. Today he did not want to start the test because he said he wasn’t ready. We take test as a class no matter what. Besides if he need more help he can put the effort in Homeroom to do the training. After the test started he became a distraction to the other students with his noises.

I made it very clear to the class if you have question raise your hand quietly and I will walk over to you. Jonathan snapped his fingers at me during the test to get my attention. Then later he walked up to me in the back of the room to ask me to go to the bathroom

In the heart of San Francisco lays the University of San Francisco. Due to USF’s location in the urban area, students are exposed to cultural diversity and the city life, as stated by Ariana Pistorina, the presenter and assistant director of admissions. My choice to attend this presentation was mostly influenced by USF’s location near the Golden Gate Bridge. USF’s main focus is on social justice, which is why USF students learn to be open to experiencing new religions and cultures. An interesting fact that I learned about USF is that theater students perform their plays at prisons that have a relationship with USF.…

It is still early in the year, and a lot of the student data has not been calculated yet, but from what I have observed, there is one student who is very new to English and is in ELL. Based on this fact an instructional strategy I would use is checking for understanding and questioning, a student who is new to English may have a hard time understanding what is happening, and may not ask for help. With this, if they do not ask for help, and the teacher does not check if they understand, the student will not do very well with assignments, and will not further their learning. An activity that can be used with this student is during reading, they have a more one-on-one learning environment, and have a list of simple questions, like who is in the story, where are they, and what is happening on this page, this will check if the student is understanding the story, as well as help them to answer these questions even when they do not have the paper.…

This year the sixth grade students boarded the plane to Middle School. For the first time, the sixth grade students had to be able to do many things that they were not used to doing in fifth grade back in Elementary School. Some of those things include being able to open a combination lock, being able to get to classes on time with a four minute passing period, and they had to manage nine different classes throughout the entire school day. Also, the sixth graders did some really exciting things this year such as mummifying a chicken in Social Studies. Throughout the school year the school held a couple pf parties for just the sixth grade students to enjoy.…

It was basic to go to exercises remarkably since I was an understudy in secondary school since that is one of the ways I could improve myself to do well on preparing since when an understudy go to diversion exercises as a soccer ball, or any amusement can help the understudy to keep up physical and (related to the mind and brain) to be rapid and to have an average thought in class. There were diverse exercises that could help me through in secondary school.
