Hephaestus is the master and god of forging all kinds of tools, weapons, and inventions, it is his skill that produces many weapons and tools that are helpful to Heracles in completing his labors. Hephaestus is even the one who had designed Pandora from clay. It is Hephaestus’ cleverness that makes him make a great chain of adamantine to trap and humiliate Ares and Aphrodite in the middle of their love making.
