Should you damage or lose any of your possessions due to fire, a natural disaster or theft, your policy covers repair or replacement costs up to a set amount – even if the loss occurs while you are traveling or away from home.

Some high-end items, however, may not be covered under your policy, and this definitely includes expensive jewelry such as engagement rings and other precious jewels.
