This is mostly because of their unkempt and menacing appearance. Even the homeless are not happy with their looks and the aggression portrayed by a number of them, is due to their dissatisfaction with their unclean looks and lack of personal hygiene.
These are some of the issues a daily shower will address if Living Spring Foundation is granted this award and implements the shower project. We will offer warm and cool baths, encouraging the homeless to come at least twice a week to daily. Thus, making L.A. a better place to play, a better place to connect, and a better place to live, as the menacing presence of the homeless will be reduced and hopefully completely eradicated from our streets. The homeless will have a neat and appealing appearance, thus improving the city’s image.
