Homeless veterans. That term should never have to be used especially in a country of our stature. But unfortunately, homeless veterans is an overwhelming epidemic. However, there is one place in Kansas City where homeless veterans are given a free home. This is a must see! …show more content…
Well, it's not by letting them become homeless and neglecting to provide them the help they need to live.
So it's extremely refreshing that the Veterans Community Project in Kansas City is doing everything they can to improve the lives of those who have served yet are struggling to survive. This amazing group and the generous donations from community members has helped build a Veterans Village. The Veterans Village is a small group of 50 tiny homes. Each home is about the size of a studio apartment and homeless veterans are able to live in them for free as long as they need them. Yep, that's F R E
