Today, because of life demands, competition for jobs becomes one of the keenest problems in our society. To achieve that goal, people defeat each other through intelligence, talent, and strength. The winners will become successful, and the losers will work for their opponents, or they may even lose everything if they do not have efforts. Because of losing jobs or many other reasons, they may become poor or even homeless. The number of the homeless is raising larger and larger, so the need for the homeless shelters is necessary and urgent. Therefore, there are two debatable sides in the society that are arguing about that issue: Building shelters for the homeless. In other words, homeless people will not going to find a job to be able to cover their life and move out of the shelter. There is many homeless shelters in the United States, and they offer many benefits as well as giving helps to homeless people. “There may be as many different types of homeless shelters and shelter services as there are causes of homelessness. Some shelters simply provide the individual with a bed, meal and temporary roof over their head, while other shelters are more thorough in aiding the homeless individual or family” (“United….”). What is better than living in a place that has free food, free cloth, free care, a bed to sleep, and a roof to reside during the bad weather in summer or winter? Whenever people live in a good condition place, they tend to stay in stability and try to maintain that life. Stability makes people feel comfortable and safe, and it also create the illusion about happy life. That is why homeless people, who live in the shelters, tend to stay in the shadow of stability.
