It provides a very welcoming and caring culture. The kind of culture that does not exclude anyone regardless of their race,gender and economic status while still providing care with respect and dignity. The culture that allows people to seek help and continues to provide care even when they keep failing The innovative approaches is the multi discipline approach where patient get to know and meet health care professional from different branches like psychiatrist, dentist, physician, nurses and case management. These professionals come together to provide care that include behaviour, mental and medical health. They also don't wait for their patient to come to them. They meet and treat their patient on the street, and shelters. They also have 80 different clinic location for the convenience of their patient including a location right outside of the emergency room for easy access. The care provided is 24 hours so it also makes access care more convenience to their patient . Quiana story brought back some familiar memory. I have always believed that everyone regardless of age, race, and economic status including the homeless should received adequate health care in a respectful way. I have always shared similar perspective in the video and Dr Monica Bharel stated that “ how we take of care of individual with the most vulnerable among our society it really said to us, a society what value have we chosen”(Bharel 2013) . Life could take an unexpected turn and we could end up finding ourselves homeless and seeking help from others. We as a society have to do better helping the homeless and those in need.
