Thomas House Today, if we see a homeless on the street, it isn 't strange anymore. In fact, in America 2013, 610,042 people were experiencing homelessness (The State of Homelessness, 2014); as the result, we can see a significant number through that report. Moreover, because the amount of homeless is too much, many charities have been established to be able to help the homelessness. According to me, one of the charities that I appreciate is Thomas House which is an Orange County non-profit organization for homeless because it not only provides a safe shelter but also supports the resources necessary for homeless families and children while empowering them to become independent and self-sufficient.…

The homelessness project captures the admission process that homeless individuals and families must go through, in order to become admitted. This process is called the initial client intake, where an extensive form was completed by me. The client intake assessment gathers information about the clients that would be used later on to create a case management plan. This case manager completed the client intake with a family of three, consisting of a single mother and two children. The client intake form will be presented as documented evidence of my work.…
As the cost of living in this county continues to grow so will the amount of homeless people. Many say the warm weather has been been a magnet for homeless people compared to cold wet winter in Toronto. This text was useful because of the one of the solution that the city of Los Angeles has decided on was to declare a state of emergency and commit $100 million towards housing and other service for the homeless(Holland). They are home to most homeless people in the country and this was the correct way to go because they need the help.
