With the decreased economy, the homeless population would turn to violence in order to provide for their family. With the thousands of homeless people cooped up in the temporary camp, they would not have a place to use the restroom, or to take care of hygiene needs. With thousands of people cooped up, it is very likely for a disease or illness to spread rapidly. All of the people being cooped up in a small area would eventually affect the air condition in the surrounding area.
It would be beneficial for the homeless population to search for other states where the economy is better. Where the economy is better, there would be more money. They could be taken into a homeless shelter and be taken care of until they are stabilized. There are more job opportunities in other states, so they would be able to save up to move into their own home again. In a place with a better economy, more people would be willing to help out the homeless population. A form of help could be a fundraiser, or government aid.
