Homelessness in Atlanta
To feed homeless people in Atlanta we need to organize a canned food drive. This is important as it relates to hunger and poverty around the world because if we feed an amount of homeless people in Atlanta we are reducing hunger in the world by a small amount but if we encourage others to do the same thing/idea we can end up making a big difference by leading by example.
According to the DCA’s homeless count there are approximately 13,790 and it is increasing day by day. In the Metro Atlanta area there are about 5,803 that are unsheltered, meaning not in a homeless shelter or in transitional housing. There are 13,790 homeless people in Atlanta
