Having the opportunity to be a homecoming princess my senior year has been one of my favorite memories yet. Going into the whole ordeal, I wouldn’t have ever, in a million years, imagined how much stress this process would cause me. I was determined to extravagant for my big night. Everything started falling into place, piece by piece. I wouldn’t change the experience for anything, and the results were pretty stellar as well. Before I knew it, the night had come. On Wednesday, September 23rd, my senior class voted for four homecoming princesses to represent during the homecoming game scheduled for Friday, October 9th. She went grade by grade, starting with 6th and slowly working her way up to the seniors. It felt like hours had passed by the time she was ready to reveal the winners of my class. Finally, the time was here, what I had been waiting on all day. To my surprise, ‘’Leenette Fincham’’ was the first name announced, followed by Audrie Fox, Catlin Murphy, and Haley Scott. I had did it, I had made homecoming court and I couldn’t be more honored. The excitement I was filled with was unimaginable. After the results were announced, it came time to pick an escort, and I thought, ‘’ who better than a football player to help me represent the senior class?’’ With that. I chose hunter parks. A week had passed and it was time for me to find my outfit to wear the night of the homecoming game. I was so nervous, wanting to look the best that I possibly could. On the 30th, I suckered Lainey into going with me to find the right outfit. Although I think she may have regretted it latter, we had a fun time at the wooden hanger. The opinions they had were endless. Many different fabrics and colors to choose from. I tried on 4-5 outfits and none of them just felt
