The joke about seeing a white light in front of your eyes and hoping it wasn’t a train coming to give you a full body high five would explain much. That is except for the sharp pain that the prelude the bright light was from the back of the head and not the front. One problem when you regain consciousness after a blow to the back of your skull is the throbbing pain that wakes up along with you. Normally it does feel like a kissing cousin to a future amnestic night of club hopping when your gag reflex has been disabled and tequila is now the star of the show. As far as the wetness on the side of the face goes, very few drunks fall down and cause serious damage to themselves.…

From what I can remember, football has become a Sunday ritual in my family since I was a kid. Growing up in the North East, we lived a couple hours from Shea Stadium in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, Queens, New York. Being the playing ground for the New York Jets 1964 to 1983, now the New York Jets play at MetLife Stadium, in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Living so closed to the stadium and having family members like my Dad, Uncles, and Grandfather take the train or a boat over to watch Joe Namath play was an experience I wish I could have been a part of. Was closing campus housing prior to Parade Day an ethical decision on behalf of the University of Scranton administration? The standard students see it as the university punishing all students for the acts of only a few; not getting the opportunity to participate in a cultural tradition; along with students being customers of the university and losing out on the college experience. The administration viewed this as a way for the University to avoid excessive drinking; lewd behavior; violence; vandalism; sexual promiscuity; and many more things from happening on campus. Bentham’s Hedonistic Calculation takes into account both the pleasure and the pain of all those involved in the situation, by using it, I will be able to determine whether closing campus causes more happiness or unhappiness.…
