Samantha was raised in a populated city around many people from different ethnicity’s, Los Angeles California. She has never lived or traveled outside of California, her and parents are immigrants to the state. As she has reaches the age of 18 it is her last year of high school, she is so enthusiastic about applying to the college of her dreams and getting to make a future for herself and others. She aspires to be teacher, so she can provide guidance to the younger generations. As she grows into a young adult she realizes even though she has lived in the state her whole life, she does not have the same opportunities as those who have citizenship. DACA an executive order Obama created has brought concern to many because, it allows immigrants to stay in the united states and use resources that citizens get while being in the country. However, many may also say, students are going take space at colleges that other kids can have who are a citizen to this country. Along with taking up a seat at a college people are not very compassionate about taking someone who has lived here their whole life and placing them somewhere were they have never lived. It is only fair that they receive the opportunities citizens get to have. One of the many ways one can obtain citizenship in the United Sates is simply by being born in one of the states (). If an individual is trying to obtain citizenship and by showing they have a job, attend college, and do not have a bad record. Should be allowed to be a citizen, because it is given to those who are just simply born within the United States. I understand that the Unites States does not have the capacity for everyone to live her. In which is why Trump should make a modification to DACA to help those that are here and making a difference, stay to continue and help better the U.S. If one is trying to better their future for themselves and they are going to help others along the way, they should be given more than two years of temporary residence for somewhere they have been living their whole life.
