When Jacob and Ricky got to grandpa Portman’s house the door was closed and locked, Jacob found a key to the door and went inside leaving Ricky at the door waiting. When Jacob went inside he called out for his grandpa but did not get a reply. Jacob walked throughout the house, turning on lights trying to find Grandpa Portman but had no such luck. Jacob walked toward the entrance to the backyard and saw that the screen had a large scratch in it, Jacob walked toward the door and saw a flashlight abandoned by his grandpa at the edge of the woods. Jacob called out for Ricky and ran into the woods to find his grandpa. After a while of looking for grandpa Portman they finally found him laying down, barely alive and bleeding to death.
