Home Depot’s corporate and business-level strategy begins with expansion and growth. Since the beginning of the companies operations in 1979, the organization has made growth and expansion a priority and it has contributed greatly to its success. One of the company’s goals listed on their website is to offer their customers the highest level of service at the most competitive prices. The founders, Bernie Marcus and Arthur Blank implemented what is known today as the customer “bill of rights” which outlines customer expectations of service from the company.
