The home care industry seems to have many standard services. For example, grooming, bathroom assistance, food preparation, monitoring of vitals, and general medical assistance seem to be universal. In addition, most of these businesses (and all the ones that we profiled) have registered nurses and aides on staff. An important factor is their convenience, so all offer 24/7 service and, at least in our sampling, offer their services throughout a number of counties. When preparing to personalize a care plan for customers, all of them have similar vetting processes and have the plan created by a RN.
