Holy Cross has been a huge part of my life ever since I came in 3rd grade. I’ve made many friends and great relationships with teaches. I remember my first day at Holy Cross, I sat next to Jeannia and Shona and Miss.Smith was my teacher. I remember every morning we would have to write a journal about one of the questions that were on the calendar. I also remember making plants for our Mom’s on Mother’s Day and most of them ended up dying. We also made snowmen out of marshmallows and we took pictures with them. Something I really remember in 3rd grade was when we watched The Polar Express in Miss.Hope’s class in our Pajamas and slippers.

4th grade was next and I remember being really scared to have Mrs.Daciw because people have told me

Going through my memories of St. Mary’s is a large task. My first memory is of the first day of preschool. It’s a bit fuzzy, but I didn’t have glasses yet, so that accounts for the vague shapes and voices. However, one thing was clear, from the moment I arrived to the moment I left, I loved St. Mary’s. From kindergarten with Mrs. Casey to TAG reading with Ms. Casey, it has been a wild but fulfilling ride to high school.…

Seventh grade, my second year now at what I thought to be the worst school in the world. On back to school night I met a man who would change my perspective on life completely, that man being Brandon Lilly. Henry Adams once said “A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops.” At a mere five-foot four he appeared to be a kid minus the burly lumberjack beard that he possessed. I remember being skeptical at first because I had never had a male teacher before.…

There are many types of religions in the world, all in which different cultures believe in. It is one thing to be raised and taught to believe in a “God” but it is an other thing when that “God” is proven real. Many people believe in a “higher power” but do not want to classify that “higher power” so that it does not change their lifestyle or their behaviour. Humans like to be comfortable in their own skin, with their own beliefs, therefore, they will try and convince themselves in what they believe is real for their own comfort.
